Cerridwyn Nordstrom is a licensed Colorado attorney who helps individuals and families navigate life’s most difficult transitions with compassion, clarity, and steadfast advocacy. She understands that legal matters like custody disputes, divorce, and family conflict are not just cases, they are deeply personal moments that can shape a person’s future and well-being.

Outside of family law work, Cerridwyn has developed extensive experience in   animal law, focusing on dog bite defense, pet custody disputes, and service or emotional support animal discrimination cases and has managed a caseload of animal law cases from intake through resolution, representing clients in both civil and criminal courts across Colorado. Her work in this field is driven by the belief that justice should extend to every member of the family including the ones with fur, feathers, or scales. She is particularly passionate about fighting for second chances for dogs accused of being dangerous, and "death row dogs," dogs impounded and facing euthanasia.

With a background in both civil and criminal litigation, Cerridwyn brings a balance of strong legal skills and genuine care for the people and animals she serves. She aims to embody heart centered practice in and out of the courtroom. She listens closely, explains options clearly, and works tirelessly to protect her clients’ rights and interests, whether in negotiations or in the courtroom. Her approach focuses on practical, sustainable solutions that help families and the animals they love move forward with dignity.

A graduate of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Cerridwyn is known for her thorough preparation, ethical practice, and ability to guide clients through emotionally complex situations with patience and understanding. As a proud Blind woman and lifelong advocate, she is committed to creating a safe, respectful space where every client feels heard and valued, regardless of life experience.

When she’s not practicing law, Cerridwyn is an avid artist. When she isn’t creating art, she can be found hiking around Colorado with her wife and spending time with her guide dog, Iris.
